National Youth Week (NYW) is the biggest celebration of young people and SbA believes there is no better way to celebrate youth culture than to go skateboarding. Thanks to World Industries and the Australian Sports Commission Go Skateboarding for Youth Week is back again in 2014 from April 5th – 15th. Thousands of young people aged 12 – 25 from all over Australia get involved in National Youth Week Projects each year, and once again SbA will be rolling across the country to locations far and wide to share the positive energy of skating.
This year our team of fully accredited coaches will be hitting 27 locations with FREE ‘Learn to Skateboard’ events, giving you the opportunity to get on a skateboard.
SbA will also have boards and helmets to use for those who don’t have their own, and awesome giveaways from World Industries. A full list of locations is outlined below so don’t miss out!
Registration forms can be downloaded here.

The addictive challenge of skateboarding is playing a hugely positive role in getting the youth of Australia active and engaged 365 days a year! The SbA Youth Week program aims to show that everyone everywhere can be a part of this positive and powerful movement.
A massive thanks to World Industries, the Australian Sports Commission and all the local councils and organisations that are supporting this initiative!
