Floyd Scott is yet another in a long string of pedigree rippers to have been spawned from the ACT. For decades the skate mecca that is Canberra has been producing all kinds of ATV skate dogs. Floyd who just won New Gen of the Year last year over at Slam Magazine has been honing his skill set on the diverse terrain that the city has to offer with endless effortless styles and great tricks.
Check out the spots he picked: first, who need go further than the mecca that is Belco. It is the southern hemisphere’s largest purpose built facility and is a proper skate moonscape. Then have a skate waltz down City Walk in the city centre known as Civic. Third, who need go further than Erindale Banks. What a humdinger of a spot to end your mini tour of the CBR. Keep you eyes pealed for guest appearances from Dad Cam originator Jack Dowden, last year’s ACT Am Champ Todd Baker and non other than the filmer himself: Leo Townsend.

DATE: Saturday 3rd May
TIMES: Registration for qualifying heats open from 9am. Rego cut-off is 10.30am for Juniors & Noon for Open Division.
PRIZES: $2,000 Prize Money ($1,000 for OPEN DIVISION WINNER)
Top 6 place-getters in Open Division and Top 3 in Juniors in each state qualify for the Nike x SbA Am Titles Grand Final.
