Song: “You Got to Move” by The Floors
(Don’t forget to watch in HD)

In case you haven’t noticed over the last few years Mitch Robertom has been on absolute fire. As soon as we thought about a Melbournite who would slay any three given spots, of course his name came up in the mix.

This is the first Three Spots brought to you in unison with the 2014 Nike x SbA Am Titles. Mitch’s choice in spots helps us set the scene for the first qualifier for the titles, which is the Victorian one. The VIC Am Titles Qualifier is being held at Melbourne’s new favourite park – Rosehill. Mitch and a bunch of his ripping mates (Sam Atkins, Jack Crook, Pat Roberts, Severin Von Ow and Justice Reid) illustrate just how rad the park is with their barrage of shreddage. The second spot is a Chinese Temple, followed up by seminal Melbourne staple for gnar-dogs: the Flinders Station Rails. This is all filmed and cut by Tony Woodward and set to the tunes of the enigmatic blues of The Floors.

Mitch easily won the Victorian Am Qualifier in 2012 and was well on his way to winning the Open Finals until a shoe explosion had him settle for second. Due to his absolute destruction in 2012 he was invited to join the Pro/Am Tour that year; this meant he was no longer allowed to compete in what was then the 2013 Nike x SbA Am Series. In case you haven’t noticed we have since pretty much morphed the Am Series and The Pro/Am Tour to bring you the Am Titles. Which aside from hitting every state and territory is the highest prize money ever seen in an Australian skateboard comp series. As long as you don’t have your name on a board, you are entitled to enter the Am Titles. This means that anyone from an unknown grom from Parker’s Corner (population 12) to Mitch Robertom to 3 x Oz Champ Tommy Fynn can enter the Titles. Running from February 1st until the 18th of October, we can safely say that these events will captivate the better half of the rolling population for the majority of the year. Want to see Mitch and many others shred Rosehill in the flesh? See you down at the Vic Qualifier on the first day of Feb
